- Please take a moment to confirm your payment method on file.
- Note: for those that choose to set up a bank account online fees are reduced
- FSA accepts cash and check as well
- Our Financial policy can be reviewed at www.swimfsa.org/financialpolicy
- Meets
- FSA will continue to target 1 meet per month per group to provide ample opportunities to race
- Summer Meet Schedule
- June 6-7 — Rock the Blocks LCM at GCIT
- June 21 — 10&U FCA Meet
- July 9-13 — MA Senior Champs
- July 16-19 — MA Junior Champs
- All athletes are highly encouraged to compete in the meets made available to them and athletes who are qualified are expected to compete in Championships meets . Competition is an important part of the training aspect of swimming in addition to character building and social development.
- Training - Group Descriptions
- If there are any questions regarding where an athlete should register group wise for the Summer session, please reach out to Coach Nic
- Athletes are organized based on skill level AND age to help support the opportunity to train and compete with their peers.
- FSA has designed our training groups this year based on the needs of the program and our current ANTICIPATED enrollment. These may be subject to change this year and on a year over year basis.
- Organizing our groups this way is intended to encourage skill development with others of a similar skill level.
- Organizing our groups this way supports team building and social aspects of swimming through participation and maturation with peer groups.
- FSA will reintroduce out of water workouts during this coming season.
- Athletes are expected to participate with the group they are placed into. Training groups have been created with great intention to best benefit our athletes’ long term swimming and character development. Attending practice outside of the athlete’s assigned group should not occur without a collaborative conversation with the coaching staff
- Lessons
- FSA Staff offers one-on-one lessons to support an athlete's swim journey
- Athletes joining the sport of swimming at a later age are encouraged to fill in some gaps with training to facilitate their best possible experience and/or introduction to our swim team.
- Athletes who are seeking support for specific areas of their swimming are also encouraged to participate in lessons to further their skill development
- Swim lessons are available to all athletes regardless of skill or experience.
- Some athletes will be asked to join the FSA lessons program to support their transition to the team or into new groups.
- Swim lessons are an additional cost on top of our Program costs.
- Coaching Model
- FSA has a goal of having 2 coaches dedicated to each group whenever possible regardless of group size.
- The FSA coaching staff has an internal goal of providing feedback and connecting with each athlete at every practice.
- FSA have sponsored our coaches to become American Swim Coaches Association certified in addition to USA Swimming and we will sponsor all first year coaches with Levels 1 and Level 2
- Schedule
- FSA is a part of, and shares its pool with Friends Select School and the Philadelphia Fins Masters Team.
- Our Summer Schedule was created with family feedback in mind, with the goal of having as many athletes continue participation as possible!
