The LAC Longing For Summer long course meet is days away and I have some updates for you going into this weekend. I am beyond excited for our meet.

Warmups

Athletes should plan to be on deck ready to swim 15 minutes prior to the start of the WARMUP SESSION. If there are any delays please reach out via text to Coach Nic at 570-404-1541. The exception may be the Distance session Friday. Please reach out should you have any questions

Session 1 – FRIDAY Warm-ups 11:00am /Start 12:00pm - Arrival Time is 10:45am

Session 2 – FRIDAY Warm-ups 3:00pm/Start 4:15pm - Arrival Time is 2:45pm

Session 3 – SATURDAY Warm-ups 6:45am/Start 7:30pm - Arrival Time is 6:30 AM

Session 4 – SATURDAY Warm-ups 11:00am/Start 11:55am - Arrival Time is 10:45 AM

Session 4D – SATURDAY Warm-ups 2:30pm/Start 3:00pm - Arrival Time is 2:15pm

Session 5 – SATURDAY Warm-ups 5:15pm/Start 6:00pm - Arrival Time is 5:00pm

Session 6 – SUNDAY Warm-ups 6:45am/Start 7:30am - Arrival time is 6:30 am

Session 7 – SUNDAY Warm-ups 11:20am/Start 12:15pm - Arrival Time is 11:05 am

Session 8 – SUNDAY Warm-ups 3:15pm/Start 4:10pm - Arrival Time is 3:00 pm

• Additionally, on Saturday all 12&under, 13-14 events and the 800 freestyle will swim combined, mixed gender.

NOTE - Distance Sessions 1 and 4D are parent Timed

Scratches

Please use the following for scratches or changes. Emailing the coaching staff will not guarantee that changes are received. With regard to scratches after the "Final Entries" Date we can not guarantee athletes will not be charged. Please review our Financial Policy with regard to Meet Fees

Parking and Entrance:

Please turn into the F&M parking lot at the RACE AVENUE/Turkey Hill intersection. DO NOT PARK on the Iron Hill Restaurant side of the building. Entrance to the facility will be on the left-hand side of the building in the large parking lot.

Volunteers

Timers - The meet is in need of Timers. Please consider timekeeping. Thank you to those who sign up to timekeep. This is incredibly helpful and supports a positive reputation for FSA which regionally helps us as we hope to be welcomed back to future meets and more. 

Officials - The meet is in need of Officials. Please consider officiating and if you are interested in becoming an official please let me know!

Admission

The Meet results and Updates will be available on Meet Mobile

There is a $5 cash admission charge for all sessions including Friday. If parents are waiting in the lobby to serve as a lane timer for their swimmer, there is not an admission charge.

Concessions will be available.
